Fabrizio Thiella

Chief Technology Officer

Fabrizio Thiella joined Fondo Italiano d’Investimento SGR in September 2026 as Chief Technology Officer. Prior to joining FII, he built more than ten years of experience in the design and implementation of digital transformation, data governance, and artificial intelligence strategies at leading consulting firms and international organizations. Most recently, he served as Senior Executive Manager, Data & AI Strategy and Governance at NTT DATA, where he led the development of the company’s Center of Excellence for Data & AI Strategy and Governance, overseeing complex projects for international clients and supporting senior management in defining innovative data-driven and AI-enabled strategies. Previously, Fabrizio worked at the lastminute.com Group as Senior Project Manager, Data Strategy & Governance, where he contributed to the establishment and growth of the Data Governance function and led strategic initiatives related to data management, cybersecurity, and GDPR compliance. He also gained extensive experience at Accenture and PwC, supporting major organizations across the banking, insurance, industrial, and services sectors in the design of data governance frameworks, digital transformation programs, and information management strategies.

Fabrizio graduated with honors in Management Engineering from the University of Bergamo. He subsequently earned a specialized Master’s degree in Big Data Analytics & Business Intelligence from MIP Politecnico di Milano and completed an advanced program in ICT Governance at the University of Parma.
