Pier Felice Murtas has been Senior Partner of Fondo Italiano d'Investimento SGR since July 2021. Previously, he was Managing Director at DeA Capital for 4 years and responsible for the management of the fund Idea Agro, the first Italian thematic fund in the agricultural and agro-industrial sectors. Over this period, he concluded 7 investments both in agricultural supply chains as well as in first transformation companies (i.e., Ingino, Gias). In the PE sector he has also worked for Carlyle in Milan and for ten years in Sofipa, of which he has recently become Managing Director. In the early years of his career he worked for PwC, Merrill Lynch and Bain both in Milan and London often supporting Italian and foreign PE Funds. Pier Felice has a degree with honors in Economics from the University of Trieste and an MBA from the London Business School.

Marco Pellegrino has been Senior partner at Fondo Italiano d’Investimento SGR since September 2022. Previously, he was Head of Fondo Neva First Italia, managed by Neva SGR (Intesa Sanpaolo Group), and Investment Director in Alto Partners SGR, with agrifood among the sectors of primary interest of the Fund. He was also Managing Director of Private Equity in Ersel Asset Management SGR and, before that, in BNP Paribas Investment Partners. In the early years of his career, he worked for Mediocredito Lombardo (Banca Intesa) and UniCredit. Marco holds a degree cum laude in Business Administration from Università Cattolica of Milan and a degree in Law from Università Statale of Milan.

Andrea Reale has been Senior Investment Manager at Fondo Italiano d'Investimento SGR since June 2023. Before joining Fondo Italiano's team, Andrea worked at Metrika SGR, investing in leading companies in the industrial and manufacturing sectors. Andrea began his career at Aksìa Group SGR, always focusing on private equity investments in Italian SMEs. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Economics and Finance from Università Cattolica of Milan and subsequently a Master of Science from Queen Mary University of London.

Marco Forcellini has been Senior Associate at Fondo Italiano d'Investiment SGR since January 2023. Before joining Fondo Italiano's team, Marco worked for over 4 years at Dea Capital Alternative Funds in the investment team of the Idea Agro Fund, investing in leading companies in the Italian agri-food sector. Marco began his career at EY Advisory in Rome and later at EBW Capital LTD, a financial boutique based in London. He holds a master's degree in Economics and Finance from Bocconi University.

Sara Carazza joined Fondo Italiano d’Investimento SGR in November 2023 as Analyst in the FIAF team. Sara gained her previous experience in the Investment Banking Division of Banca Mediolanum, where she was actively involved in M&A, DCM and ECM operations. She also worked for the international private equity firm Tikehau Capital. Sara obtained a Master’s Degree in Management from Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore in Milan.
