Mauro Pretolani

Senior Partner

Mauro Pretolani is a Senior Partner at Fondo Italiano d'Investimento SGR since January 2017, having previously served as an Advisor from 2015 to 2016. He brings extensive investment and operational experience across Europe, the United States, Israel, and China. From 1999 to 2012, he was a General Partner at TLcom Capital LLP in London, where he played a key role in founding the management company, raising capital, and managing the TLcom I and II funds. He also served as an independent director for publicly listed companies, including Seat Pagine Gialle and Motork PLC. Throughout his career, Mauro has held various executive roles in technology companies, including Executive Chairman, CEO, and EVP of Sales. He began his professional career at Bain & Company as a Manager and later at Procter & Gamble, where he worked in the Marketing and Finance divisions.

Mauro Pretolani graduated in Economics from La Sapienza University of Rome, and he earned his MBA with honours from the Harvard Business School.
