Gianpaolo Di Dio

Chief Investment Officer and Senior Partner

Gianpaolo Di Dio is the Chief Investment Officer and a Senior Partner at Fondo Italiano d’Investimento SGR, a position he has held since October 2010. He previously handled turnarounds, as the CEO of Arcotronics and as the Executive Chairman of Netscalibur Italia. He is also the co-founder and general partner of TLcom Capital LLP, a VC fund based in the UK, a JV with Morgan Stanley, where he made numerous investments in the ICT industry in Europe and Israel. Before TLcom, Mr Di Dio was the Senior Manager of Bain & Company, mainly handling TMT sectors in Europe and Silicon Valley. He began his career as a financial analyst at Abbott.

Gianpaolo Di Dio graduated with honours in Economics and Commerce from LUISS, where he also completed an MBA.
